A-B DH+/RIO NeoPAC Gateway Overview
SoftPLC's NeoPAC Gateways provide protocol conversion between Allen-Bradley Data Highway Plus (DH+) and/or Remote I/O (RIO) "blue-hose" networks and Ethernet/IP, ModbusTCP, DF1, Modbus RTU, and other networks.
NeoPAC Gateways are ideal for staged migration from devices using older networks to new devices using ethernet communications, combining data from multiple networks to a single ethernet/cellular channel for data analysis or other high-level systems, plus many other applications.
Model SN2-A1-BH Specifications:
- (1) GB Ethernet port, user-configurable protocols
- (1) A-B "blue-hose" port (user configurable for DH+, A-B RIO Scanner, A-B RIO Adapter)
- (2) USB 2.0 ports (user configurable for DF1, Modbus, ASCII)
- Up to 100M words data registers

- This catalog number is base functionality. Many additional options are available, including other communication ports, wireless, email, and more. To configure a unit with other options, select model SNG2.
- The Size determines the mapping capacity of the gateway in terms of the maximum number of Ethernet/IP connection bytes, Allen-Bradley logical I/O racks supported (I and O addresses), or ModbusTCP server connections. The table below summarizes the available sizes:
