SLC-500 Conversion Utility

Convert SLC-500 files to SoftPLC!

August, 2003: SoftPLC Corporation announces another industry first - SLiCk Convert - an online utility that instantly converts programs for the Rockwell Automation SLC-500 series of PLC's (ladder logic and documentation) to a SoftPLC formatted application file. The results of the conversion utility can be loaded into TOPDOC and then run in a SoftPLC In Tealware or other SoftPLC based system.

Many re-engineering hours can be saved as users migrate their systems from the proprietary SLC-500 technology to SoftPLC's open architecture controller systems. Once the application is converted, SoftPLC users can enjoy the benefits offered by SoftPLC including more capacity, higher speeds, more flexible communications, and expand the applications to include features such as email, web server, data logging, user defined functions, and more.

SoftPLC offers this utility as an online tool on their website.
