The ICO-7000 I/O modules have been renamed to the A
Series I/O.

2003: SoftPLC now offers a high-speed distributed RS-485 serial and wireless
I/O product line, which we call the ICO-7000 series I/O. These modules provide
cost-effective protection and conditioning for a wide range of industrial control
signals and systems. Modules include digital inputs/outputs/counters, analog
(including Thermocouple, RTD and strain gauge) and more. These modules are ideal
when you need a few distributed I/O points and a bus network cost cannot be
justified, or when you need some wireless points. Example applications include
HVAC controls, sorting conveyors, utilities, and more (one system we have installed
is a weather station controller that reports the current weather to a web page).
