14:42:23 Permalink SLC-500 Utility Back Online   English (EU)

Our online SLickConvert (SLC-500 Conversion) Utility is again available in fully automatic mode. (We had some temporary problems with our ISP supporting the utility.)

This utility takes your exported SLC-500 program (ladder logic and documentation) and instantly converts it to a SoftPLC formatted application file that can be downloaded into a SoftPLC, saving untold hours of re-engineering.

The utility first provides a report that displays the conversion results, and the number of instructions (if any) that cannot be automatically converted. Most programs convert 95% or better.

To receive the converted file, a small fee (paid by credit card) will send you an automated email with the SoftPLC Application.

09:09:11 Permalink Tealware I/O meets Electric Utility Standard IEEE C37.90.1-2002   English (EU)

SoftPLC's Tealware I/O meets the certification requirements for IEEE C37.90.1-2002 (and -1989) Standards Specification for Surge Withstand.

This standard defines requirements and testing for immunity to electrical surges and fast transients found in power generation and delivery applications. The tests are designed to assure a level of isolation, insulation integrity, electromagnetic immunity, and contact ratings.

No other PLC I/O meets the rigorous requirements of the 2002 version of the standard (to our knowledge).
