SoftPLC’s networking now can support DHCP as an alternative to BOOTP and static IP addresses.
To use a DHCP client on any SoftPLC ethernet interface, just have the line in NETWORK.LST say:
ETH DHCP
That’s it! The DHCP server should establish the GATEWAY and the DNS settings, the values in NETWORK.LST will be ignored if DHCP is set for an interface.
